my own little cover of Gone by Ioanna Gika, which i first heard in Snow White and the Huntsman. the song is really haunting in an adaptation of snow white with various other fairytale elements, and you can find the original and the film's imdb page below.

- autotuned, but i distinctly remember my family being busy around the time i recorded this, and there was an odd background humming i wanted to tune out.
+ it does add a very very creepy effect. and not everything is tuned -- i still did not know the concept of a midi input back then, so it was an assist rather than a directed effect.
- but i'm still not thrilled about that, since my philosophy was between fitting it in and using it as an effect back then.
+ happy for the experience with the effect, though, especially when i worked on things with vocoders later on.
