When this Genesis shmup came out ~35 years ago, I got baited by all the good reviews the game got in magazines, saying it was the most amazing game ever. I ended up renting it, and... I didn't even get past stage 2. It was more difficult than I expected, and having to do those checkpoints over and over without any sense of progress was incredibly frustrating. It was a wasted rental for me.
But I certainly feel like I'm better at shmups now than I was 35 years ago! Am I up to the Gaiares (Guy-Are-Us) challenge?!
Also yes I left some of the prestream in because it made me laugh. Sorry, Jamie Bunker
