Alexander Arguelles | Gender Differences in the Polyglot Community @ProfASAr | Uploaded November 2018 | Updated October 2024, 1 week ago.
In this video, I present more descriptive statistical findings from my research survey on the character traits of language learners, this time filtering for gender. Filtering for gender revealed more interesting, and, I believe, new and important findings than did filtering for any other single factor. Most of those findings relate directly to language learning experience, belief, attitudes, methods, reasons, etc., and are in the 2nd half of the survey/video. The 1st half concerns general demographics, and I think the 2nd half makes more sense in that context. However, the video is nearly an hour long, and if anyone wants to skip directly to the language section, it begins at 36:57.
