In the year 2048, revolves around the Immortal Grand Prix, or IGPX, which is a mecha racing/battle circuit. It was called the Immortal Grand Prix ( IGPX ). In the IGPX, two teams of three mechs, high-tech fighting machines driven by humans, race at speeds greater than 350 mph (560 km/h). The IGPX also contains fighting elements; attacking the opposing team to disable their mechs (thus preventing them from winning the race) is not only legal, but also expected.
In the show, Team Satomi a crew of amateur pilots, has just won a minor-league championship, the IG-2, vaulting them into the sports highest level, the IG-1. While the video game started off from IG-3. Under the guidance of the talented female owner Satomi, pilot Takeshi, Liz, Amy, and River aim to win the IG-1 championship and take on the challenge in the race! Standing in their way are the battle-hardened IG-1 teams
Team Satomi:
-Forward
Takeshi Jinno (15 / Japan)
A boy with outstanding good luck. At first glance, he seems absent-minded, but when he is focused on something he likes, he doesnt listen to the opinions of others. The results dont seem to be bad.
-Midfielder
Amy Stapleton (13 / Ireland)
A genius girl, the team leader in terms of strategy. Although she is the youngest on the team, she is also the smartest. She loves soufflés.
-Midfielder
Luca (3)
Amys pet calico cat (male), a rare animal that contributes to the fighting force of Animal Navi. A special being that is in sync with Amy both physically and mentally.
-Defender
Liz Ricarro (16 / Puerto Rico)
She is the best in the team at controlling machines. She is short-tempered and lacks cooperation. On the surface, she sometimes clashes with Takeshi. Her hobby is Chinese martial arts.
Players take control of Team Satomi to race and battle to become the best IGPX team in the world. With customizable IG Machines, team-based combination attacks, and a changing course that can be utilized to their advantage.
The object of the race is to beat 3-on-3 battle, disable all enemy mech or reach to the finish line first.
