Gundam: The Battle Master is a video game that was released on the PlayStation console in 1997 by Bandai, the game was developed by Natsume.
Story / Intro:
Due to global pollution and increase in population, humanity is no longer able to thrive on Earth. It fell to the International Symbiotic Community to create a new home for mankind in outer space by exploring other planets. Upon confirmation of viable living conditions, planetary colonization started immediately, successfully creating new homes many years later.
However, some colonies rebelled against the Community when they began to impose order, the resulting chaos leading to mass destruction. To protect themselves, the colonies created Mobile Suits. Due to their rarity and power, they became precious commodities and bounty hunters soon took these powerful machines for themselves. A vicious battle between these mercenaries soon broke out, the likes of which mankind has never seen.

THE DRAPED SHAPE
An intense rhythm fills the cockpit of his beloved MS. Music is always around Smith. He was born and raised in a poor slum. His parents died before he could even remember, but the adults around him warmly welcomed the lonely Smith. The town was poor but full of music, which made Smith's personality cheerful, but he was always struggling with financial difficulties. For Smith, being forced to live a hard life just because he had no money was unbearable. The gap between the rich and the poor, caused by the bad government, seemed to be getting bigger day by day.
Growing up in such an environment, it may not have been surprising that Smith had an abnormal obsession with money. Smith became a bounty hunter, who could earn a large amount of money if he had the skills. Smith dreamed of becoming a millionaire someday, and his dream may have come true at a young age. However, he sent most of his bounty money to the slums. It was his way of giving back to the people who had looked after him when he was still a child.
After completing another job today, Smith was in high spirits when he visited his client, but soon found himself in a bad mood. He had beaten up more people than was requested, but the bounty was only for the amount requested. Anything more than that was outside the scope of the contract. The fact that the client was right made him even more annoyed. It was so infuriating!
At that moment, a flash of inspiration flashed through Smith's mind as he was filled with anger. He had heard about the mobile armor a few days earlier. It had apparently wiped out an entire military unit, so if he could defeat it, there would surely be a huge bounty on offer.
"Not bad... right!" Smith searched for the jet-black mobile armor and sprinted the Sazabi. The cockpit was filled with a light-hearted rhythm, unlike before.

In the year 2048, revolves around the Immortal Grand Prix, or IGPX, which is a mecha racing/battle circuit. It was called the Immortal Grand Prix ( IGPX ). In the IGPX, two teams of three mechs, high-tech fighting machines driven by humans, race at speeds greater than 350 mph (560 km/h). The IGPX also contains fighting elements; attacking the opposing team to disable their mechs (thus preventing them from winning the race) is not only legal, but also expected.
In the show, Team Satomi a crew of amateur pilots, has just won a minor-league championship, the IG-2, vaulting them into the sports highest level, the IG-1. While the video game started off from IG-3. Under the guidance of the talented female owner Satomi, pilot Takeshi, Liz, Amy, and River aim to win the IG-1 championship and take on the challenge in the race! Standing in their way are the battle-hardened IG-1 teams
Team Satomi:
-Forward
Takeshi Jinno (15 / Japan)
A boy with outstanding good luck. At first glance, he seems absent-minded, but when he is focused on something he likes, he doesnt listen to the opinions of others. The results dont seem to be bad.
-Midfielder
Amy Stapleton (13 / Ireland)
A genius girl, the team leader in terms of strategy. Although she is the youngest on the team, she is also the smartest. She loves soufflés.
-Midfielder
Luca (3)

-Defender
Liz Ricarro (16 / Puerto Rico)
She is the best in the team at controlling machines. She is short-tempered and lacks cooperation. On the surface, she sometimes clashes with Takeshi. Her hobby is Chinese martial arts.
Players take control of Team Satomi to race and battle to become the best IGPX team in the world. With customizable IG Machines, team-based combination attacks, and a changing course that can be utilized to their advantage.
The object of the race is to beat 3-on-3 battle, disable all enemy mech or reach to the finish line first.
