This video is part of a 3 week road trip through norway and shows the Geiranger Skywlak as well as the Geiranger fjord at the end.
The Geiranger Skywalk - Dalsnibba is a spectacular viewpoint nestled in the Norwegian fjords. Perched at an altitude of 1,500 meters, it provides a panoramic 360-degree view of the Geirangerfjord and the surrounding mountains. On a clear day, you might even catch a glimpse of the renowned Seven Sisters waterfall. The Skywalk is accessible by car and remains open throughout the year.
Reaching the Geiranger Skywalk is an adventure in itself. You can drive there, opt for a tour bus service, or select a cruise excursion. The journey takes you along the Eagle Road (Ørnevegen), a serpentine mountain road that offers awe-inspiring views at every turn. There are two car parks available for visitors to the Geiranger Skywalk. The upper car park is located at the top of the road on the plateau, equipped with facilities for the handicapped and spaces for both buses and cars. If you park at the lower car park, you can enjoy a short hike up the original 300-400-metre-long path leading to the Skywalk.
