I never was much of a binoculars person...be it a bad experience with the first pair of 25 dollar binoculars I purchased...or be it a lack of confidence in glassing. Over the few years though I've come to realize that a quality pair of binoculars can go a long way for eye comfort and scouting. The Leupold brand is well known for their high quality glass, and with the Yosemite model being a porro prism binocular it is amazing how crisp, clear and bright the image is when glassing with them.
