Me Elk Archery hunting the Wasatch front unit in Utah. Up in some very mountainous terrain. This is day 3(Sept 12 2015) of an ongoing series till I finish hunting this year. Right now we are in extended archery now...
Spent a good portion of the morning hiking to a glassing point where we spotted elk on a distant mountain. It gave us high hopes for the day so we headed out to try and fill a tag. We didnt want to spook the elk so we ended up sitting near a wallow and water hole which was frequently used by the elk. With no luck that day we head home...ofcourse our adventure had only began...
