The God Particle - a new kirtan band from Northern NSW, featuring accomplished Indian musicians, Soolaba Doyle, Pandit Raj, and Rupa Cameron. A mixture of classically trained and self-taught performers of devotional Indian music called kirtan, bhajan and raga. Instruments played by the band include: Sitar, Esraj, Harmonium, Mridanga, Flute, Snake-charmer and Guitar.
"Gaura" is a live demonstration of traditional Indian music at an Australian School, only one month after the band was formed.
Filmed by GoKool Productions and edited by me. Special thanks to Asta and Gunamala who gave out books about kirtan and bhakti yoga during our performance.
