Soolaba's unique sitar interpretation of the traditional Spring Raga "Basant". Excellent mridanga accompaniment by Rupa Cameron, and karatalas by Lila Tidyman. Performed live at Mt Warning, December 2014. This melody portrays the joy of Sri Krishna’s Raasa Dance, in the heavenly forest of Vrindavan, just after the rising of the full moon in Spring.
