You are not bound to my design, you can also *manually* place end gateway portal blocks like regular building blocks, and even including teleport coordinates, how cool is that };]
You can load this structure into your world via a 1.10 structure block, with a NBT file that I give you as download. "Gate Generator.zip" contains a worldsavefile AND "structures.zip" with the structures only. You can only unpack the structures folder and drop that into your worldsave, or use the provided world download.
