Three days a week, I create the following batch of juice to help my stomach recover and give it the nutrients needed to be healthy. Before creating I researched gastritis-friendly vegetables and fruits before tweaking this recipe to be tolerable and healthy.
I have this juice as breakfast for three days a week. I juice for three days in a row.
Shopping List for 3 Days of Juicing:
· 2 Bunches of spinach
· 2 Large sweet potatoes
· 1 Bag organic carrots
· 1 Bunch of beets
· 1 Bunch of Kale/Cabbage
· 1 Bag organic granny smith apples (two still have less sugar than one royal gala or honey crisp)
Recipe:
I used roughly 1/3 of the items purchased for each of the days, other than the apples. 1 apple should be used each time, or a maximum of two.
Peel the sweet potato before juicing, and wash all items before juicing.
Note: I am not a medical, health, or nutritional expert, simply a fellow sufferer of gastritis who has spent time trying to reverse my gastritis and decrease the symptoms I experience. Consult with your physician before making major changes to your diet.
