After unboxing the GPSMAP 67i, I walked through setup, created a GPS course, and took it on a first hike to test multi-band GNSS accuracy. I brought the older 66i along to compare track performance in tough GPS environments like areas with tall buildings. The 67i showed clear improvement in signal hold where the 66i struggled. Setup is still clunky if you're switching from a Mini 2 or another device already linked to Messenger. Once paired with both Messenger and Explorer apps and updated, the unit worked as expected. Also compared against an Epix 2 and iPhone 14 to see how it stacks up in real conditions.
