📖 Patch Notes 🕯️
This patch explores all of our PIZZA firmwares in an atmospheric context. The first voice originates from the CRUST, producing a drone layered with noise bursts. The drone is shaped by using CTRL to control the TONE amplitude, set to DUAL mode and detuned by a fifth. PEBBLES—driven by an LFO that modulates BASIL’s STEREO—triggers the envelope of the NOISE (rather than the TONE), creating occasional bursts.
This signal is then routed into a modulated BASIL, with a slow triangle LFO affecting the stereo spread, full BLUR, short delay time, and long feedback. The drone pitch itself is further animated by a slow, quantized random LFO.
The second voice generates a melodic line from the PIZZA using its internal envelope. This bell-like tone is stereo-spread with IKARIE, modulated by a slow bipolar triangle LFO, and then sent into another reverb-like effect in BASIL—this time combining BLUR and TAPS, again with short delay and long feedback.
As always, all modulation is sourced from the NEO TRINITY.
