Jordanian authorities have the option to sanction a domestic prosecution over the death of US mother-of-one Jamey Carney (43), despite the fact her murder occurred in Ireland.
It is understood two senior gardaí travelled to Amman to liaise with Jordan’s Directorate of Public Security over the murder of the New Yorker in Kerry on July 6.
