The Nintendo Switch 2 has launched and with it comes a way to enjoy GameCube games like other past Nintendo consoles, but it was noticed by a few people in the speedrunning community that this emulator has a small amount of input delay. I made a video and posted it to Bluesky showing the delay, and now that post as gone somewhat viral and resulted in a storm of replies and such. I wanted to take this moment to talk about this and why I made the post and address some of the opinions people had in the replies.
