In an interview with Glixel, Splatoon 2's producer Hisashi Nogami dropped some news another new mode will be in Splatoon 2. A mode called "League Battle" which will act as a ranked squad battle. Per rotation you can team up in squads of 2 or 4 and compete to earn the highest points with results being displayed at the end of the rotation.
