This is a software regression issue I ran into while filming my Hackintosh El Capitan to Sierra upgrade video. I lost the entire session due to this bug, so I wanted to reproduce it, find a workaround (hopefully saving other people time), and submit the problem to El Gato's dev team so they can fix it.
