Michael Houk is a 15-year veteran educator, Family and Consumer Sciences teacher, and esports advisor at Rockdale Virtual Campus in Georgia. He began teaching virtually during the COVID-19 lockdown and has taught at every level from preschool through high school. He holds an A.S. in Education, a B.S. in Bible and Preaching, an M.S. in Education, and an Ed.S. in Workforce Education from the University of Georgia. His research interests focus on organizational induction, gamification, and AI-supported onboarding systems. He is also a 2023 Fulbright team member to Tanzania.
Nye Warburton leads the Interactive Design & Game Development department and the new Applied AI Bachelor of Design at SCAD. With more than 20 years of experience across animated films, TV commercials, and video games—including credits on Monster House, Avengers, and Men in Black III—he now focuses on preparing students for careers in gaming, AI workflows, and immersive technologies.
