In which things go amazingly well on my first attempt.
...To be fair, I had originally completed this stage using a save where I completed the Cordelia Kidnapping mission using the All Units Damage method. At that point, I couldn't have my Snipers as Elites as too much EXP was siphoned off by Lancers to unlock the Order. It was fairly difficult, but I made the general strategy back then and got it to work after many attempts. For fun, I decided to try it out on the save where I completed the Cordelia mission using Marina. Having a Sniper Elite made a world of difference in reliability. I was so lucky, the fact that I messed up and had Vyse equipped with the wrong machine gun didn't matter.
Things can go a bit sour if the mortar on the second turn is aimed at where Coby and Vyse are dispatched (2 CP would have to be wasted to move them out of the way). That said, it seems that if I deployed two more Scouts and if I had gotten lucky with an Undodgeable Shot proc'ing early against the Ace, a three-turn full clear would have been possible. As it stands, I have some fun and blow up the second Makeshift Bridge before finishing on Turn 4.
