In which Snipers point out once again that they are very useful. Also in which there are many explosions.
It's worth noting that this strategy avoids having to spend any actions blowing away obstacles (done by deploying a Sniper, in this case Cezary, from the southern camp in order to remove the Anti-Tank Turret and two Heavy Gatling structures). If obstacles needed to be removed, there would be far more luck involved in taking out the 19 enemies in 20 CP.
It's also convenient that the enemy Lancer is terrible at getting into position for a clean shot at the Edelweiss's radiator. If he weren't, things would become a lot hairier.
Yoko or Hector must be used to clean up the southwestern corner -- the +10%vsPers gained from Born Leader proc'ing is critical in taking down in one action the Trooper Elite next to the initial deployment position with the Theimer M20 (which is needed to blow up the Destroyers in one shot). In this strategy, Ammo Refill (Yoko) or Extra Shot (Hector) needs to proc at least once. Knute's Double Action proc'ing shouldn't be necessary strictly speaking, but for whatever reason I could not find the proper trajectory to blow up the north-facing Heavy Gatling with only one grenade. So I'm glad it proc'd when it did.
I believe this is the first video where I take advantage of the Sniper zoom-out trick: if a Sniper shoots at an enemy infantry unit with no Zoom applied, the enemy will never dodge. (Not entirely sure why it works, but it does.) This was used to ensure that the Engineer Elite wouldn't dodge Marina's shot. In the original game, only Marina (with Ult. Accuracy) ever had an Accuracy stat high enough for this trick to be used safely. In this mod, all of the 7th Platoon Snipers have amazing Accuracy, and so this trick can be easily used with any of them. Yet another way that Snipers shine in this mod.
