Galaxy at the edge of the Universe BREAKS the standard model & hints at something else!

Mainstream firmly holds in the view that galaxies with higher redshift are the oldest and furthest objects. New images are pushing their theories to the breaking point. In a new image captured by ALMA astronomers claim to have captured an image of a galaxy which sits on the edge of our observable universe. This galaxy would have formed a mere 1.4 billion years after the Big Bang but when they examine its properties it once more throws their models of galaxy evolution on its head. So is there a different way of looking at this?
