This was my favorite Joe growing up. He just looked so different, futuristic, and way cooler than the others. That hose connecting his laser weapon to his backpack was groundbreaking at the time. This modern version augments that but never loses the spirit of the original and it’s just way too good to pass up. This is one of those releases that hits the mark of nostalgia balanced with upgrading for a modern audience.
