This is one of those figures I really like because even back in the day it felt unique and very fit for purpose. It was Cobra’s combat diver, and that identity really carried over well into this modern version. The design still emphasizes that swimmer build, with proportions that make him look streamlined and stealthy, exactly how an underwater specialist should look. The gear and helmet setup translate nicely into the Classified scale and the whole figure just feels cohesive. Pair him with G.I. Joe’s Wetsuit and you instantly have a fun matchup, which is exactly the kind of thing I used to do years ago and seeing it again now definitely brings back those memories. The retro-style packaging is also fantastic. When Hasbro wants to do something right, they really do it right, and this is a great example of that.
