this has to be one of the biggest piles of shit i've ever used in this game. this thing cannot make turns. it literally can't turn which makes it almost impossible to win in several tracks. the quick turn tech doesn't even work and not even setting it to max acceleration can make it turn decently. i only managed to beat Diamond Cup just to show some gameplay because i ain't suffering the other cups with this thing.
Unique Custom Machines are machine part combinations that receive special names once you put together a machine with certain parts. the names usually reference something but other than that, it doesn't affect the machine's performance. they still work the same as any custom machine.
there are 77 Unique Custom Machines in the game but only 51 of them are accesible normally because 26 of them require the Event Parts that are no longer obtainable. the parts can be obtained with cheat codes on the original release but those aren't accesible on Switch 2 so this version is limited to 51 machines.
i'm playing using the Wii U GC Adapter and an original GC controller. i also have an input display to show what i do during gameplay. the input display also comes with a function to change sensitivity and that lets me get around the sensitivity problem present in this version. it feels much closer to the original. there's still the input lag but it's more manageable.
