another update to the Gamecube Classics app and another test.
finally, there is a change in one of the tests. the stick range has been improved and is now much closer to how it is on a real Gamecube. i tested with and without the input display and the result is the same.
input lag didn't change at all. it's still the same as previous versions since launch.
the input lag is still 5-6 frames. that's how many frames pass between the first frame of the input detected and the first frame that shows movement in the game. i use a video editor to get those numbers.
the fact they fixed one of the problems gives renewed hope that the input lag might be fixed at some point. never say never i guess.
i tested with a wired GC controller to avoid any wireless interference and with the same TV setup just like the previous times.
older tests:

December 2025: youtube.com/watch?v=6bs9Y7e39kU
launch window (June 2025): youtube.com/watch?v=JzaexEg61XE
