This track came to me in a dream. I'm not kidding.
A couple days ago I had a dream that F-Zero 99 got a huge update that added an entirely original league that had two tracks from a new venue called "Salvaged Scrapyard". SScI was the first track in the league, and SScII (the one I recreated) was second to last. I don't remember anything about the other 3 tracks unfortunately, but maybe someday I'll dream about it again and fill in more details.
There were also a good few other details that weren't attached to the new league, which I jotted down at 4:30 in the morning (around a couple minutes after I woke up from it), if you want to read the rest of what I remembered, I posted all of my notes on Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/cosmictailz.bsky.social/post/3loy74uphck2k
