Minecraft has been a big part of my childhood, and continues to be a notable part of my life to this day. The first time I'd played it was during a visit at my cousin's place back in 2013, though it was only for a few brief minutes, which was still enough time for me to create a "stairway to the sun"... that only reached a couple blocks off of the ground.
For a good few years, I was stuck with pocket edition, which didn't have in-game music at the time. It wouldn't be until my 9th birthday that I'd get a taste of C418's works via Minecraft Wii U Edition, which had even more than I'd previously known I was missing out on. Years later, the game would contribute to me forming my first long-distance friendship with a person who went by the NNID of "xKevinx2010", who was one of the few people I'd sent friend requests to after playing a session of Mario Kart 8 online. I still remember the times I'd hide under a bunch of blankets to play with them late at night since they were (presumably) in a far-off time zone.
And now, around 6(?) years after my first taste of the internet, I run a niche YouTube channel where I upload music and other random stuff that I make. I've got less than a week before I become an "adult", so as a tribute/sendoff to my childhood, I decided to make my own little C418-style music disc, since they were one of my favourite parts of the game. Even today, I still listen to them outside of the game pretty often.

![BS F-Zero Grand Prix 2 - Dash at Dawn (Hybrid Soundfont Remix)
This right here is the pinnacle of my journey thus far, a remix made out of a combination of 3 different instrument sets of a[n officially] nameless song.
I actually started working on this remix almost a year ago, but I never uploaded it simply because I didnt know what to do for the thumbnail (which happens pretty often). Heck, if it werent for the poorly-timed power outage as I was uploading it today, it probably couldve came out a few hours earlier.
