It's Friday, which means it's time to go oldschool with some Classic SNES F-Zero-style races! This was recorded during last week's World Tour event. I missed the first minute of each Classic Mini Prix because I had just finished a World Tour, but the competition was still fierce.
Classic Mode is a mode for only 20 players that replicates the rules and style of the OG F-Zero on SNES. This means no Spin Attack, no Skyway, only one boost per lap after the first, no energy expansions from KOs, and narrower tracks in a 4:3 aspect ratio. 12 tracks are available for this mode, including all 8 tracks from the normal race pool and all 4 tracks from the Pro Tracks pool. The only tracks you can't play in this mode are the Grand Prix Finales (Silence, White Land 2, Fire Field), though they are now available randomly in Classic Mini Prix events. With this mode comes unlockable customizations for your pilot card, including badges for winning 1st place in a Classic race and for finishing a Classic race on all 12 tracks, and a border modeled after an SNES cartridge for playing Classic mode 25 times.

Friday - Classic Mode
Saturday - Grand Prix/World Tour
Sunday - Variety Marathon (A little of everything)
