The Castlevania 2 Randomizer has some new features and settings currently in beta, and this next seed is meant to test a few of the new features. The new settings being tested include uploading character sprites not included in the list, character color palette randomization, Fast Lakes (which makes the lakes leading to Rover and Laruba Mansions drain automatically with possession of a blue or red crystal), Scaled XP (where XP gains scale relative to your current level, which means you can level up faster early on), and Boss Randomizer Plus (which adds the possibility of bosses spawning in any mansion, not just Brahm and Laruba, though one of the bosses will always be in Castlevania).
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the newest member of my randomizer rotation: the Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest Randomizer! This randomizer shuffles all items in the game around (including Oak Stakes) by default, but also has other options like an enemy randomizer, a town/mansion randomizer, a door randomizer, custom character sprites, and also some difficulty modifiers. Instead of using alphanumeric sequences of characters to label different seeds, this one mashes four words together to create sometimes humorous phrases. If you want to play a specific seed that I'm playing in these videos, copy the video title into the "Randomizer Seed" section on the website and remove the spaces.
