This video, filmed by MONA productions, presents Fynn Ribbeck’s first solo exhibition in Berlin—’Solid State Dream' at Open Forum.
In Ribbeck’s work, digital and corporal worlds intersect. Characters and objects from the two-channel video installation emerge into the space in sculptural form. A hypnotic and completely animated world within the video, filmed by an “analog camera” which Ribbeck built in virtual reality, depicts an artificial thought or a recurring dream on loop and sets the context for the sculpture and wall works presented in the show.
