This week in Basic Instrumentation we will start investigating Pressure systems and controls. This Furnas pressure switch provides reliable control for automatic water systems. The switch is universally accepted for use as original equipment on water well pumps or pumping systems.

Our goal is to have this differential pressure switch cut in (ie. turn the pump on) at 25 psig, and cut out (ie. turn the pump off) at 40 psig.

They look simple to calibrate, but you may be tearing your hair out if your instructor has messed up the calibration set screws on you.
