![Leverage Points- Learning Session
Find the lesson guide here: https://bit.ly/42gIe1R
This will be a 90-minute co-learning event as part of the Si Learning Series. We will explore the theory and practices of identifying and prioritizing places to intervene in a complex system to enable systemic and coordinated change.
Donella Meadows introduced the idea of leverage points in a paper. In it, she proposed a set of places to intervene in a system that would result in varying degrees of change within the overall organization. She started with the insight that there are levers or places within a complex system where a “small shift in one thing can produce big changes in everything.”
Going beyond these original ideas, this event will introduce you to a set of theories and practices that are based on the leverage points method. This will be a 90-minute co-learning event as part of the Si Learning Series where we will explore this guide in an interactive form.
Purpose:
The purpose of this event is for you to learn core ideas and concepts about Leverage Points in an interactive way. The whole Si Learning Series is a 9-week journey to help everyone learn the main concepts of Systems Innovation in a very accessible way because we want to make such information available to everyone.
Who:
Joss C. and Asra Sayyeda will guide you through key concepts using a platform called Miroboard and provide examples to make the ideas accessible to everyone. The Miroboard link will be shared at the start of the session. If youre new to Miroboard, you can find a simple tutorial [here].
When & Where:
This is an online Zoom session on April 16th, at 6 pm CET. Leverage Points- Learning Session](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/fCNqX50HAh0/mqdefault.jpg)
