Today I attempted to examine the temperatures of Hyrule and find the hottest and coldest location in TotK. However, while I was doing that, I noticed a really cool detail. There are two temperature gauges in Tears of the Kingdom, but they actually display two different temperatures. The temperature on the map shows the air temperature of the location you are in. However the temperature gauge on the HUD shows the temperature that Link himself is feeling. So if Link was standing on a fireplace, that gauge would skyrocket while the one on the map would stay the same. Honestly I only just learned this.
