Chinese President Xi Jinping is delivering a speech at a formal event at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, commemorating 100 years since the birth of late Chinese leader Jiang Zemin. Jiang served as paramount leader from 1989 to 2002 and as head of the military until 2004. He died in Shanghai on November 30, 2022, at the age of 96.
