This is an information session for faculty (current and retired), postdocs and independent researchers interested in the Fulbright opportunities available in Canada.

The session is led by Paulo Carvalho, Fulbright Canada's Program Officer for Recruitment and Outreach. In the presentation, Carvalho explains the Fulbright Canada Research Chair opportunities and provides valuable tips on how to submit a competitive application.

Canada is the country that hosts the most Fulbright awards with over 50 opportunities.

Presenter's Bio:
Paulo Carvalho is Program Officer, Outreach at the Foundation for Educational Exchange between Canada and the United States of America (Fulbright Canada). Paulo is responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of the Foundation’s recruitment strategy for both the student and scholar awards and is the primary point of contact for grantees, alumni, and partners on matters relating to recruitment.
