I had to have a quick look at how my experiment is going, but it still has a month to go. We all know these things and others are just a myth and some of the sellers claims are pure bullshit, bordering lies. Including the one that the RAF developed these during WW2 to combat low octane fuel which they never, they had been stockpiling 100 octane fuel from the USA since 1939 and never used low octane fuel in any form, and that lead was first put into petrol in 1936, which is also inaccurate. Common sense tell us all that if they worked, the refineries would be using them in the tankers and filling stations, and car makers would also drop a few in the tanks of every car, which we know doesn't happen. The seller told me, scientific tests show one result, but "Real World" tests show many thousands of happy customers, and I should keep an open mind. I put 2 vented jars of fresh E10 in my log box, where they have been sitting in the dark undisturbed for all these months of hot summer days and wet summer days. So far the "Treated" Jar hasn't turned brown, which is one of the claims, it also still smells like it might be combustible, but definitely not fresh, the Fuel Diamond claims to stop the fuel from going off. The "Untreated" jar has discoloured a little, but smells exactly the same. The random carb parts in the untreated jar look exactly the same as they did when I dropped them in there last December with absolutely no corrosion or oxidisation at all. If you look back at the first video, you can clearly see the fuel seems to have evaporated by almost half the amount. I started the test using E10 fuel from my bike that I filled up from the local Esso station. I measured the ethanol content and it was around 4%. In 4 weeks time I'll test it again using the same Briggs and Stratton tester to see how much water has been absorbed in each test sample. The Fuel Diamond also claims it will prevent this. THE FORMULA POWER FUEL CATALYST
This will allow any engine designed to run on leaded petrol to run safely on normal pump unleaded 95 octane fuel.
The fuel catalyst has the desired effect of raising the octane lubricating the engine and burning at a slightly lower burn temperature.
There is no need to use a liquid additive or to retard the ignition timing or to fit hardened valve seats
The fuel catalyst is a tin amalgam and follows very closely to the original Royal Air Force receipe which was developed to combat poor quality and low octane fuel.
This product is not unique to us, there are a few companies producing a similar product but we hope you will be impressed with our honesty about this product.
It simply is placed into the petrol tank of any car or motor cycle and then only 95 unleaded fuel needs to be used.
Lead was put into petrol in 1936 to stop the KNOCK this product was developed in 1941 for the Royal Air Force.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST? Some companies claim unbelievable mileage but you cannot claim this as cars and motor cycles differ in the amount of fuel they consume.
We therefore state that our product will be good for 100,000 miles.
We give a 6000 mile test period, a full refund if you are not satisfied and a £1,000,000 product liability insurance underwritten at Lloyds.
ONE FINAL POINT IF YOU LEAVE YOUR CAR OR MOTOR CYCLE FOR MONTHS ON END WITHOUT USING IT THE FORMULA POWER FUEL CATALYST WILL KEEP THE FUEL FRESH AND STOP IT BECOMING STALE.
