Today's flight has us (excitedly) begin from the freeware MKVY Gatwick Airport scenery from flightsim.to for the first time in quite a few years... why? Well - Origami Studios/iniBuilds EGKK from years back has been mothballed and iniBuilds have released a rather expensive EGKK Payware themselves so I wanted to go and check the free one once again to showcase and highlight how AMAZING this is for a free scenery.
We'll be jetting off to MM Simulations IZMIR v2 - a scenery due to be updated soon for MSFS 2020/2024.

Howdy! Today were back in the BIG TRI-JET BEAST that is the mighty MD-11! Its been a long time since I have last tried to fly this so Im super excited to jump back into the flight deck of this absolute workhorse of an aircraft.
Definitely rusty - and made a few errors especially on takeoff (TFDi Design Staff have been SUPER helpful in working out where I went wrong for next time so thank you to them!)
Well be exploring what this MASSIVE update has in store for you all, releasing on Monday 12th January 2026 with a NATIVE MSFS 2024 version, STUNNING cabin, and a from-the-ground-up rebuild of the model, textures AND MORE!
