We are Carol & Ken and we like touring in our Consort Nova motorhome called Snoopy.We have spent four lovely November nights in our campervan near Henley-on-Thames and accidentally discovered that the neighbouring site – Swiss Farm – is better in almost every way… and £11 cheaper for the same dates!
Join us for:
• Breakfast at Swiss Farm’s excellent café
• A beautiful riverside walk to Temple Island (start of the Royal Regatta course)
• A cracking Nepalese meal in Henley
• Truma Combi D6E heater failure drama
• A visit to Disraeli’s home, Hughenden Manor (National Trust)
• Our honest verdict: we won’t return to Henley Four Oaks Caravan and Motorhome Club site – Swiss Farm wins hands down!
Perfect autumn/winter motorhome getaway inspiration for the over-55s who love good food, gentle walks, pretty towns and proper campsites with decent facilities.
