The IKEA Museum Archive and Collection holds around 10,000 artefacts, tracing all the way back to the 1940s. And it’s still growing. This is where we came up with the idea for the Nytillverkad collection. We wanted to make our design favourites available for the generations who may have missed them. Now some of our vintage designs return in new colours and updated constructions.
