From Crisis to Opportunity: Touchpoints to Expand Opioid Use Disorder Treatment @NUFeinbergMed

More than 100,000 Americans died of a drug overdose in 2022, most linked to opioids. Despite the availability of effective medications for opioid use disorder and harm reduction programs, services are often not available to people in crisis. Based on Dr. Saloner's research, this talk will give an overview of policies that can increase access to services at key touchpoints such as residential rehab programs and in jails and prisons.
