Before VSTs existed, I made this Synclavier patch into a full virtual instrument

What started as a chaotic patch of bouncing 8th notes on teh Synclavier became a fully playable virtual instrument — before we even used that term. I expanded the randomness to control rhythm, density, timbre, and more, creating an expressive tool that shaped my music for years. Sometimes, chance and code make magic.
