Our live cover of "Frog's Theme" from Chrono Trigger, originally composed by Yasunori Mitsuda. This arrangement by Jasper Dutz.

Behold! A most tragic tale of unfortunate fate in Chrono Trigger: a tale of a swordsman overcoming his lack of confidence in being a knight, only to be turned into a frog by the one who killed his brother. Yes, a frog... with an AWESOME theme song! This song is such a regal, triumphant yet introspective march, which doesn't seem like it would work in a jazz context at first; but Jasper is such an amazing mind and multi-instrumentalist that his suggestion alone helped bring this song to the front lines. Jasper also proves his mettle over these manic triplet flurries, with a roaring solo that parries every expectation and destroys them. And then, Olin smooths out the tail end with a solo that illuminates Frog's inner struggles, passion, and sensitivity. This one's for Cyrus!
