I came up with this AU entirely from thinking about the RvB clip, so they are forever inextricable. The day I stop using Red vs. Blue audio is the day I die.

Here's a summary of this AU! Called, like, "Redtail Lives" or something.

Redtail manages to survive being killed by Tigerclaw because Ravenpaw makes one fatal error and accidentally alerts Tigerclaw to his prescence before Tigerclaw can finish Redtail off. Tigerclaw leaves to go track him down, and Redtail crawls away and hides while he's gone. Tigerclaw kills Ravenpaw, but because of all the blood smell and river, he can't find Redtail and has to return to ThunderClan. Redtail escapes to the barn, nearly dying (hey, if Mapleshade can do it, so can he), but is saved by Barley and his Twolegs. Redtail/Barley for life, yo

That's the gist, but I had a couple other ideas for events in this AU:
- Ravenpaw appears in Firepaw/heart's dreams as a cryptic ghost, shouting things like "FIND HIM!!" and Fireheart would have to solve the mystery of who. Eventually Ravenpaw would specify to find the barn.
- Tigerclaw would say Redtail was buried under the rocks with Oakheart.
- Redtail would return to help reveal Tigerclaw's treachery in his banishment scene, but would stay on the barn with Barley like canon Ravenpaw did. He'd probably fight in the battle with BloodClan too.
