Hello! Im almost done making a webcomic called Pinepaw and the Forgotten World! Several people have asked me how I put together issues for this comic, and Ive answered them a few times, but I figure that a video is the easiest and cleanest way to do that.
Sorry that its a full hour long, my editing program only speeds things up so fast, and apparently I took 9 hours and 30 minutes to draw this whole thing which led to oh god I cant shorten this under an hour. Anyways. Hope you like it.
If at any point in the video you see me pause for awhile without anything moving, just count that as a cameo from my friends Wolf and Haw. Just imagine that were talking about Crazy Ex-Girlfriend or Spider-Man or whatever.

Jingle Bell Rock is one of my favorite Christmas songs AND its a MAP about my comic OCs, I absolutely had to participate in this. This was a delight to work on, I gave myself a treat by doing minimal tweening and heavier illustration.

For context: Hayfrost (the pale she-cat with speckles) and Flamesnout (the darker tabby she-cat) were girlfriends. Hayfrost had been raised as a loner, Haystack, outside of the Clans. When she came to SnowClan, she quickly learned who her mother was when the SnowClan immediately tried to kill her.
Haystacks mother, Seedstar (pale speckled she-cat with a star on her shoulder) had been one of the worst tyrants the Clans had ever known, and left enormous lasting impressions on SnowClan. Flamesnout, a SnowClan warrior, almost instantly fell head-over-heels for Haystack and snuck out to visit her constantly, until she was able to convince her to join the Clan and become Hayfrost. However, Clan cats still judge Hayfrost because of how she looks almost identical to Seedstar.
This part shows Hayfrosts insecurities about looking so much like the terrible mother she never even knew, and Flamesnouts frustrations at not being able to do anything about it.

If I asked any average Warriors fan who Antpelt and Beetlewhisker were, I bet theyd only be able to give me the vaguest idea of these two boys. But I happen to love these two very minor characters, and I wanted to explore their personalities and backstories more!
Antpelt and Beetlewhisker are best known for being two cats who trained and subsequently died in the Dark Forest. Antpelt was then killed again by Ivypool, while Beetlewhisker was never seen again. Heads up, this video has a lot of extrapolation and headcanon in it, so if youre going to get upset at me for it I suggest you go elsewhere.

Beetlewhisker is born into RiverClan with his parents, Icewing and Mintfur, and his siblings, Petalkit, Grasskit, and Pricklekit. However, Pricklekit dies after only half a moon from an illness, and Beetlepaw and his siblings are apprenticed with him. But Beetlepaw finds he has a lot of trouble in training, and gets jealous of how well his siblings are doing compared to him. Brokenstar meets him in a golden field, and eventually convinces him to train in the Dark Forest. But there, Beetlewhisker meets his mother, Icewing. The two are very uncomfortable and try to avoid each other, with neither wanting to confront why they are there. Sadly, though, Beetlewhisker is eventually killed by Brokenstar, and his spirit ends up lying forever in the Dark Forest.
Antpelt was born a loner named Ant, who parents abandoned him early in life. He learned to live alone, but his personality became jaded and prickly because of the isolation. One day a WindClan patrol was hunting a rabbit, when out of nowhere an unknown cat came in and made an incredible catch. Stunned by his talent, Onestar invited Ant to become part of WindClan, and gave him the warrior name Antpelt. He was affectionately trained by Harespring and became close friends with the mistrustful Breezepelt. However, Antpelt begins having stress dreams of being banished from WindClan because hes a loner, and he becomes desperate to prove himself a loyal WindClan cat. He trains in the Dark Forest to become stronger, despite Harespring trying to urge him out of it, but he meets his first death by Thistleclaw and his second by Ivypool.
GOODNESS! Ive been working on this PMV since around June, and Im so glad to finally have it done. Im immensely pleased with how it came out, and I hope you like it too. Ive really grown attached to Beetlewhisker and Antpelt, and all I want is for more people to know their story. Its about dang time someone made a full PMV for these two!
