Two friends caught terrifying footage of the moment they were BURIED ALIVE by a '50mph' avalanche - with one being rescued 'just minutes before he would have suffocated'.

Mason Zak and Jake Dahl were both submerged under five feet of snow after an unexpected 300-foot avalanche occurred during a day out snowmobiling.

The pair have been riding together in Star Valley, Wyoming, US, for the last five years but it was their latest trip to the mountain on January 22nd that almost cost the friends their lives.
