I'm offering an 6-week intensive online class focused on a classic and immensely influential work of Western Philosophy, Friedrich Nietzsche's On The Genealogy Of Morals. The course meets weekly for 90-minute class sessions using Zoom on Saturdays at 10 AM Central Time / 11 AM Eastern Time, starting on Saturday, August 31 and continuing through Saturday, October 5
Class sessions will be videorecorded and uploaded into the course site, so students can review the class sessions whenever and as often as they wish. We will also host discussion forums in the class site for each week to continue discussions of the key ideas.
Friedrich Nietzsche's On The Genealogy Of Morals is among his most important works. The three treatises of the work lead the reader through a number of key reconstructions, arguments, distinctions, and interpretations of valuations (Werthungen), and historical developments. It is perhaps Nietzsche's most systematic work.

Session 3 – Second Treatise: "Guilt", "Bad Conscience", and "Related Matters"
