Friday the 13th
Approximate Film Date: October 1987
In honor of Mark Brinkman's favorite holiday, I thought I'd put together a quick little tribute video of everyone's favorite hockey-masked murderer.
The footage used to create this short skit was taken from a video shot on September 28th, 1987 at Sylvester School in Hanover, MA. The participants in the video are Mark Brinkman (of course), Kevin Wilson, and Jim Dreier.
The original was so terrible that I had to abandon most of it - including a hysterical fist fight between Jason and the two ruffians (maybe I'll do a follow-up video of that little treat). The short film I have uploaded here is cobbled together from pieces of the aforementioned footage.
So, here it is. A tribute to one of the greatest slasher-flick killers of all time: Jason Vorhees. And to my friend Mark Brinkman, with whom in our youth, I shared a mutual appreciation for this great masked villain.
