Students in the Nano Stream research and synthesize novel nanoparticles that have enormous potential for applications in a number of industries. They monitor the formation and composition of these particles, and publish their work in basic science journals.

Here, undergraduate researchers Meredith Ward and Chandler Prevatt describe how the unique chemical properties nanoparticles make them ideal for diverse industrial applications, as well as the community they've formed as a result of their work.
