After nine years of investigation, cement giant Lafarge and several of its former executives are finally standing trial in France for financing terrorist groups.
It’s the first time, a company in France is being tried for terrorism financing!
Although this is a milestone for corporate accountability, it should not detract from the fact that Lafarge is also charged for complicity in crimes against humanity.
